FREE SCREENINGS AND EVENTS

There are many ways to see French films and series or attend events for free at the festival. Here is a list of complimentary screenings and events offered in 2022. No reservation is needed for free screenings or events. No ticket is delivered. Admission is on a first come, first served basis. Like for all other screenings we require all attendees to wear a mask in the premises of the festival.

TELEVISION COMPETITION IN MELVILLE THEATRE (October 11-16)
Series & TV Movies in competition for the TELEVISION Awards are shown for free on loop in the Melville theater every day from 9 am to midnight (Until 9 pm on Sunday). Schedule is made to help you to attend other screenings at the festival all day long.

THE CLASSICS SERIES (October 11-16)
A unique experience not to be missed! The exclusive screening of digitally restored or rare French classics in the Renoir Theatre at the DGA, includes an homage to Jean-Luc Godard, Jacques Perrin and Jean-Louis Trintignant. It is probably the best screening conditions ever for these French chef d’oeuvres.

SHORT FILMS COMPETITION (October 11-16)
Don’t miss this exciting program in competition for the Awards. All shorts in competition are presented together in three parts and run twice between Tuesday and Sunday in the morning (Truffaut Theatre). Attend the three parts and vote for the Audience Short Film Award.

HAPPY HOUR TALKS (October 11-15)
From Tuesday to Saturday, attend our popular panel series at 3 pm presented in association with Variety and followed by a Wine & Cheese reception at 4 pm in the Festival Lounge (from Tuesday to Friday). After attending the panel and the cocktail you will have first access to theaters for the next screenings. You must be +21 and attend panels to access the receptions.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM (October 10-14)
Celebrating 13 years of support of a new generation of Foreign film viewers, in partnership with ELMA, with the support of AATF, the educational program is a free program open to students and teachers.

EVERYDAY INVITATIONS
During the festival, limited invitations are available for some Premiere screenings. Screenings are announced on Facebook and Twitter one or two days beforehand. Join us and follow us!

REDUCED PRICE SCREENINGS
These screenings are not free but with discounted prices: all screenings between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm on October 11-14 (except free 5 pm screening in Renoir theatre on October 13) as well as all After 10 screenings in Truffaut theatre on October 12-15.
