2022 OPENING NIGHT CEREMONY CEREMONY AT THE DIRECTORS GUILD OF AMERICA

This year’s Opening Night film was Jean-Jacques Annaud’s NOTRE-DAME ON FIRE. The film recounts the real-life, devastating blaze that engulfed Notre-Dame cathedral in 2019 and the great heroic efforts the firefighters of Paris performed to put it out. We shared the film with the Los Angeles Fire Department who joined us at Opening Night and we celebrated together the hard work that fire departments do across all communities to keep us all alive.
