It\u2019s the end of the tourist season at Les Cimes, a small ski resort in the Swiss-Alps.\u00a0 Vacationers are leaving, the snow is melting, and a woman\u2019s body is found lying in broad daylight. Her bizarrely staged, ritualized murder is clearly the work of a serial killer working both sides of the Franco-Swiss border. Actor Marina Hands, of the Com\u00e9die-Fran\u00e7aise, and Sofiane Zermani (A.K.A. French-Algerian rap artist Fianso) lead a talented cast in the emotionally complex, continually surprising detective series Off Season. As two police captains \u2014 one Swiss, the other French \u2014 they join forces to investigate the macabre crime. But the unconditional love of one mother, willing to do whatever it takes to protect her sole remaining child, throws a monkey wrench into their investigation.
