(Click\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/theamericanfrenchfilmfestival.org\/about-us\/franco-american-cultural-fund\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/theamericanfrenchfilmfestival.org\/about-us\/franco-american-cultural-fund\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1688940369104000&amp;usg=AOvVaw2kPYc0rrA7uq7QTb7qUACb\">here<\/a> for a detailed presentation of the FACF).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For the last 29 years, the event has been <span style=\"color: #545454;\">committed to promoting the best new French films and series in the U.S. and to showcasing in Hollywood the vitality and the diversity of French cinema, television, and shorts. TAFFF is ranked among the top 3 Film Festivals in Los Angeles, the most comprehensive annual French cultural event in the U.S., and the largest festival dedicated to French cinema and television in the world. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Following the mission of the FACF, the festival is dedicated to facilitate and encourage connections\u00a0 between professionals of both countries with several panels and workshops taking place during the week. In 2025, the festival will again be part of the a<span style=\"color: #545454;\">wards season with an opening on October 28 <\/span><span style=\"color: #545454;\">through the closing night on November 3<\/span><span style=\"color: #545454;\"> at the\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #545454;\">Directors Guild of America on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][mk_padding_divider size=&#8221;110&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1758918118129{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;]\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The selection is mainly\u00a0 made of premieres. Several high-profile features presented are World Premieres, International Premieres, North American or U.S. Premieres. The showcase is also known for presenting films before their French release and several months before their commercial distribution in the U.S., raising the event\u2019s profile among U.S. distributors who use the event as a platform to launch and promote their film in Hollywood.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Since 2021, a few films and series already released during the year can be part of the selection and compete for the Awards. The audience of the festival is made up of cinephiles, industry professionals, and lovers of French culture.
