During the official Premiere of his new film\u00a0NOUVELLE VAGUE<\/em><\/strong> at the American French Film festival, Academy Award nominated writer\/director Richard Linklater<\/strong> accepted on stage, the FACF Award from FACF board member and WGA member Howard Rodman. The FACF Award<\/span><\/strong> was created by the Franco-American Cultural Fund in 2024 to honor a filmmaker or an actor whose film is the result of an artistic collaboration between France and the United States.<\/p>\n

Richard Linklater\u00a0<\/strong>has directed twenty-six feature length films, garnering much acclaim, as well as five Academy\u00a0Award nominations, two Golden Globe Awards and two BAFTA Awards, including BAFTA\u2019 Best Film Award for\u00a0Boyhoo<\/em>d.
