Synopsis<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

H\u00e9l\u00e8ne’s picture-perfect life and brilliant career come crashing down around her when she suddenly suffers a burnout. Feeling stuck, unfulfilled and restless, she and her family move back to her hometown… where she runs into Christophe, her high school crush, who has never left. <\/span>Alex<\/b> Lutz<\/b>‘s exquisitely layered adaptation of <\/span>Goncourt\u2013winning author Nicolas Mathieu’s novel is a bewitching pas de deux by two consummate actors, plunging us into a world of regret and desire, past and present, longing and social divisions, and the choices that shape people’s lives.<\/span><\/p>\n

Director’s Biography<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Alex Lutz<\/b> is an accomplished stage and screen actor, theater and film director, screenwriter, playwright, and novelist. He began his career on stage, winning two Moli\u00e8re Awards for Comedy in 2016 and 2020. His numerous acting credits include Michel Hazanavicius’s <\/span>OSS 117: Lost in Rio<\/span><\/i> (COLCOA 2009) and Pascal Bonitzer’s <\/span>Auction<\/span><\/i> (TAFFF 2024), as well as the TV series <\/span>Catherine et Liliane<\/span><\/i> (2012-2019), <\/span>Baron Noir<\/span><\/i> (2020), <\/span>Becoming Karl Lagerfeld<\/span><\/i> (TAFFF 2024), and <\/span>\u00c7a, c’est Paris !<\/span><\/i> (TAFFF 2024).
