Director’s Biography<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Writer\/director, <\/span>Rebecca Zlotowski<\/b>‘s first co-screenwriting credit was the short film <\/span>Dans le Rang<\/span><\/i>, which won the SACD prize at the 2006 Directors Fortnight in Cannes. Her first feature, <\/span>Belle Epine<\/span><\/i> (2010), premiered in the Cannes\u2019 Critics Week, was awarded the Prix Louis-Delluc for Best First Film and earned L\u00e9a Seydoux a C\u00e9sar nomination for Most Promising Actress. That was followed by <\/span>Grand Central<\/span><\/i> (2013), which premiered in the Cannes Un Certain Regard section; <\/span>Planetarium<\/span><\/i> (2016), which opened at Toronto and Venice Film Festivals; <\/span>An Easy Girl<\/span><\/i> (2019), which premiered in the Cannes\u2019 Directors Fortnight; and <\/span>Other People\u2019s Children<\/span><\/i> (2022), which was screened in competition in Venice. On the small screen, she has written and directed several episodes of the political thriller miniseries <\/span>Savages<\/span><\/i>, which she co-created for Canal+. In January of this year, Zlotowski was honored with the Unifrance French Cinema Award, honoring filmmakers who have contributed to making French cinema shine abroad.\u00a0<\/span>A<\/b> Private Life<\/i><\/b> premiered out of competition at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
