After last year\u2019s West coast premiere of\u00a0Call My Agent<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0at COLCOA, fans of the comedy series were able to enjoy the complete first season on Netflix. The show\u2019s phenomenal success around the world has led to its nomination for an International Emmy Award. Now COLCOA gives you the chance to get the jump on season 2. Camille, Mathias, Gabriel, Andrea, and Arlette are back with 6 more installments of mishaps, misunderstandings, and misadventures at the ASK talent agency. And once again they will stop at nothing to make certain their clients\u2019 interests are served. Originally developed by Fanny Herrero, and based on the real life experience of former big-league agent Dominique Besnehard, the show takes a shameless peek at the grime behind the glamour of the stardom business. This season\u2019s crop of celebrity actors willing to poke fun at themselves includes Isabelle Adjani, Juliette Binoche, Fabrice Luchini, and Christophe Lambert.<\/p>\n

Showrunner Fanny Herrero began her career writing for television in a wide range of genres, from crime action\u00a0Les bleus: premiers pas dans la police<\/em>\u00a0(2006-) to period drama\u00a0Un village fran\u00e7ais<\/em>\u00a0(2009-). For season 2 of\u00a0Call My Agent<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0she brought some new writing talent aboard, including her fellow\u00a0Kabul Kitchen\u00a0<\/em>(2012-) staff writer Benjamin Dupas (co-writer of the feature\u00a0Ares<\/em>, also screening this year at COLCOA),\u00a0The Innocents<\/em>(COLCOA 2016) co-writer Sabrina B. Karine, and\u00a0Welcome to Argentina<\/em>(COLCOA 2013) co-writer Ana\u00efs Carpita. Herrero also opted for fresh eyes behind the lens with\u00a0Ast\u00e9rix and Ob\u00e9lix: God Save Britannia<\/em>\u00a0(2012) director Laurent Tirard. Known for his successful film adaptations of the\u00a0Le Petite Nicolas<\/em>\u00a0children\u2019s books, Tirard most recently co-wrote and directed the hit romantic comedy\u00a0Up for Love<\/em>\u00a0(Closing film COLCOA 2016), starring a diminutive Jean Dujardin.<\/p>\n
