Its purpose remains the\u00a0same:\u00a0The festival has\u00a0become a unique opportunity to French productions or co-productions to be watched and awarded by an audience mainly composed of industry members in Hollywood, at the beginning of the awards season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs Honorary President of the Franco-American Cultural Fund, I am proud to have accompanied this festival for more than 25 years. Having seen it grow, evolve and become one of the most important events in the United States entirely dedicated to French cinema and television, I have absolutely no doubt that it is THE American French Film Festival, and I welcome this new name that suits the festival perfectly.\u201d ~ Costa-Gavras, President of the FACF<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor the last 27 years, COLCOA has been\u00a0the\u00a0festival to bring French films (and series since 2015), to the heart of Hollywood.
