Alone, we&#8217;re nothing,&#8221; Tony decides to reconnect with the daughter he abandoned twenty years earlier, when she was just a baby.\u00a0 Still a coward, he&#8217;s unable to screw up the courage to actually confront her directly.\u00a0 So he decides to sign up for a dance class she&#8217;s teaching in Paris.\u00a0 Incognito, of course.\u00a0 To get to know her gradually&#8230; in a desperate attempt to give some meaning to his empty life.\u00a0 In the process, he has more than a few dance steps to learn!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Franck Dubosc<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> began his career with small roles on television and played the &#8220;French lover&#8221; on the long-running British soap opera <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coronation Street<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, in 1987-88.\u00a0 He rose through the ranks as a stand-up comic at various Paris comedy clubs in the &#8217;90s, subsequently writing and starring in five critically-acclaimed one-man shows, presented at bigger and bigger theatrical venues, many of them released on video.\u00a0 He has continued to write comedy material and scripts throughout his career.\u00a0 His big break on the big screen came with the hit comedy <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Camping<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (2006) and sequels <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Camping 2<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (2010) and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Camping 3<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (2016), which he both cowrote and co-starred in.\u00a0 Numerous ensemble comedies followed, including <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Asterix and the Olympic Games<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (2008) and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Dream Team<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (2012).\u00a0 He was also featured as a special guest on <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Call My Agent!<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in 2020.\u00a0 He has appeared in 75 feature films, TV series and comedy videos, and has 29 writing credits to his name.\u00a0 In 2018, he wrote, directed and starred in his first feature, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rolling to You<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0 <\/span><b><i>Rumba Therapy<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, his second directorial effort, opened at the Alpes d&#8217;Huez International Comedy Film Festival in January of this year.<\/span><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][mk_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/theamericanfrenchfilmfestival.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/rumba_poster-eva-duriez.jpg&#8221;
