Corinne Masiero plays Captain Marleau, an eccentric, outspoken and brilliant detective working with the National Gendarmerie. Known for her signature trooper hat, disheveled appearance, and unorthodox, humorous methods, she investigates complex murders, often in rural settings, effectively unmasking killers by catching them off guard.  French-female version of Columbo, Captain Merleau episodes offers a prestige guest casting.  Nearly every episode features renowned French actors — often cinema legends — playing suspects or key figures.
