Here is a list of complimentary screenings and events offered in 2024. No reservation is needed. No ticket is delivered.\u00a0<strong>Admission is on a first come, first served basis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SHORT FILMS COMPETITION (October 31-November 3)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Start your day at the festival with an exciting. program in competition for the Awards. All shorts in competition are presented together in two parts and run twice between Thursday and Sunday in the morning (Truffaut Theatre). Attend the two parts and vote for the Audience Short Film Award. Program is available <a href=\"https:\/\/theamericanfrenchfilmfestival.org\/short-films-2024\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TELEVISION COMPETITION IN MELVILLE THEATRE (October 30-November 3)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4 Series &amp; 3 TV Movies in competition for the TELEVISION Awards are shown for free on loop in the Melville theater every day. Schedule is made to help you to attend other screenings at the festival all day long. When attending these screenings, you can win a cruise for 2 in Bordeaux France, courtesy of AmaWaterways. Like for all screenings in the program you can also win a trip for 2 to Paris, courtesy of Air Tahiti Nui. Like for all screenings in the program you can also win a trip for 2 to Paris, courtesy of Air Tahiti Nui.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HAPPY HOUR TALKS (October 30 &#8211; November 2)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From Wednesday to Saturday, attend our popular panel series at 3 pm presented in association with Variety and followed by a free Wine &amp; Cheese reception at 4 pm in the Festival Lounge (from Wednesday to Friday). After attending the panel and the cocktail you will have first access to theaters for the next screenings. You must be +21 and attend panels to access the receptions. Presented in Association with Variety, with the support of CNC, ELMA, LAFCA, SACEM &amp; UNIFRANCE.<br \/>\nProgram to be announced soon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HOMAGE TO ALAIN DELON (November 2)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>French iconic actor passed away last August. The festival will pay tribute to Alain Delon with a very rare screening on the big screen of restored DEATH OF A CORRUPT MAN on Saturday November 2 at 11:00 am. Click <a href=\"https:\/\/theamericanfrenchfilmfestival.org\/death-of-a-corrupt-man\/\">here<\/a> for details.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM (October 27 &#8211; November 1)<\/strong><br \/>\nCelebrating 13 years of support of a new generation of Foreign film viewers, in partnership with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.elma.org\/\">ELMA,<\/a>\u00a0with the support of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/frenchteachers.org\/\">AATF<\/a>, the educational program is a free program open to students and teachers.
